Causes and solutions of splitter failure:
Fault phenomenon: impact, noise, damage, the divider can not reach the expected speed and bearing capacity
Cause: improper adjustment affects the accuracy of the divider. It mainly occurs in two parts: the adjustment of shaft spacing; Adjustment of input and output axial positions.
1. Adjustment of shaft spacing:
If the divider has a gap in the positioning work area through long-term use and wear, the gap shall be eliminated through the adjustment of the distance between shafts. This can be done by synchronously adjusting the eccentric sleeves at both ends of the input shaft.
2. Adjustment of input and output axial position:
The axial position of the cam divider can be adjusted by adjusting the lock nuts on both sides of the cam or the bearing pressure covers on both sides of the input shaft. The axial position of the dividing wheel may be adjusted by adjusting the bearing gland at both ends of the output shaft or the lock nut at the rear end.
1、 The lower corner materials and sundries around the transmission system block the movement, and the lower corner materials and sundries around the transmission system shall be cleaned in time.
2、 The concentricity between the installation base and the input and output shaft direction of the divider and the input and output direction required by the equipment is not good. Deflection or eccentricity. This will affect the output accuracy and seriously damage the divider. Because at this time, the divider is in an abnormal stress state. Solution: adjust the installation base and the direction of the input and output shafts of the divider.
3、 When the fit clearance between camshaft bearing and Journal of divider is greater than 0.15mm, replace it with a new bearing to restore the normal fit between journal and bearing.
